In 2019, you really can't speak on a panel without someone asking: How does a brand weather disruption? (Exhibit A: Google’s $170 million check for data harvesting).

Lucky for me, this past week at Macy's - someone caught my answer on camera so I can link here the next time someone asks that Q!

Thank you to Parsons School of Design for inviting me to speak at Macy's HQ alongside some heavy brand hitters, including Parsons Assistant Professor Christopher Lacy, and my fellow panelists Kevin Thompson, Chief Marketing Officer of Sotheby’s International; Sabrina Lynch, Head of Culture at marketing firm Exposure; and Joshua Williams, Assistant Professor at Parsons.

Always so proud to tell the story of how I worked with Levi's and #ExtraExtraCreative to create a truly priceless concert where the only ticket in - was wearing your favorite piece of denim.

CES 2018 with Samsung Business

CE-yes!

If you followed along Samsung Business' Instagram Stories this week, you may have seen some of my favorite CES moments, from Samsung's self-driving, 5G-connected car tech to the company's new digital whiteboard, Flip to chats with industry experts like Deloitte's Jay Samit and J. Gold Associates' President and Founder Jay Gold about the ways enterprises are adopting AR and other smart technologies.

While in town, I stopped into to visit my friends at Fox5 Las Vegas to share my top five social media trends of 2018. (You check them out here.)

I also got to check out Dell and Nikki Reed's new line of sustainable jewelry made entirely from old-school Dell computer motherboards. Congratulations on the launch! (And shop the collection here.)

But my trip wasn't all work and no play. Shoutout to Google, Microsoft and Lenovo for throwing some stellar parties, and to Cirque du Soleil for another incredible The Beatles LOVE performance.

Ted Baker: Mission Impeccable

Ted Baker's Autumn Winter ’16 campaign film may have just launched, but it’s already making history - as Google's first fashion brand application of Voice Search, which allows users to speak into their phones to do a Google search.

We celebrated the Mission Impeccable launch this week with a breakfast followed by a screening of the espionage-inspired short film, executive produced by Guy Ritchie, and a fashion and digital trends panel moderated by yours truly.

Joining me on the panel was Craig Smith, global brand communication director at Ted Baker, Nick Roope from creative agency Poke, Lisa Green, head of fashion industry at Google, and Dan Garraway, co-founder of interactive video platform Wirewax. We talked about everything from brand storytelling to the unique role of film in retail to the rise in digital activations for fashion brands.
