Social media has changed nearly everything about the way we live – including parenting.

With so much of our children's lives now taking place in the digital world, how can we keep them safe and ensure they're making the most of their online experiences?

Earlier this month, I was thrilled to join NBC Raleigh, FOX Birmingham and ABC Portland to discuss this, and give my fellow parents some tips and tricks to ensure kids are reaping the many positive benefits of social media. From setting boundaries and monitoring online activity to teaching kids about red flags to look out for and being kind online, there is a lot that parents can do to help their kids stay safe and thrive on social media.
